Fa la la la la ... . . . that’s the sound of the Madrigals as they perform their Renaissance music throughout the Detroit area. Dressed in colorful costumes, this a capella singing group performs for school functions, civic and commu- nity groups, churches, and private organizations. En- joying her first year as the group’s director, Mrs. Mari- anne Corrigan commented, “Madrigals has been a very special and talented group to work with. Vocal music students had a busy year under the direction of Mrs. Marianne Corrigan, who this year accepted the challenge of moving from junior high to high school teaching. In addition to nu- merous school and community con- certs, the choir participated in fund raisers for scholarships. Funds are also used for new music, folders, and cos- tumes.
