We, the senior members of the 1968 Reflector Staff, would like to dedicate this book to an indi- vidual who has devoted many hours of service and made many contributions not only to the school, but also to the compilation of this year- book. This individual is Mr. George Ambroe. During the past three years we have seen visible proof of his guidance in the presentation of out- standing and long-remembered yearbooks. Be- cause of his infectious sense of humor and unique personality, he has presented himself as a competent and effective instructor. His en- deavors within the field of high school athletics have won him the respect and admiration of the students under his direction. His unselfish ex- penditure of time and energy have not gone un- noticed. The knowledge gained from his ac- quaintance and acquired in his daily classes will remain with the students long after they have departed from the halls of Ferndale Area. As a parting gesture, we the staff wish to honor Mr. George Ambroe, our leader.'' 7
