Var ity Klub The Varsity Club is an organization made up of those boys who have earned a letter in one of Fern- dale's seven varsity sports. Club activities included a pie sale, dances after the basketball games, and the Annual Turkey Trot when Kathy LaPorte and Ernie Fetzer reigned as' Football Queen and King. Under the leadership of Coach Rigby, these boys have devoted their all to make our school outstanding in all seven sports. Key Klub The Ferndale Key Club has always maintained a reputation for being one of the most active clubs in the school. It is sponsored by the Greater Johnstown Kiwanis Club and is advised by Mr. Gaggini. Proj- ects for the year included selling programs at football games, candy at different times during the year, and refreshments at the basketball games. i The goal of the club was to send its officers and senior members to the Annual Key Club Convention which was held in Philadelphia.
