tu ougu TUB SEASONS Greetings to You: Education grows from deep roots in our Americah heritage. I would challenge you to recognize the potentiality of education and that your own education never really ends. Even though we may have reached the goal of graduation, we shall continue to have many educational experiences and opportunities. He who takes advantage of these and learns, shall be successful. Through education there is promise and hope for the advancement of all mankind. Ours is a constantly changing world. Dynamic and epochal changes have come to be accepted as commonplace. Amid these world shaking developments, we look to education to give us the wisdom, the understanding, and the know-how, to meet the challenges of our day. The ideals of our education do not change but our methods of realizing them do change. It is our hope that we have given to you while you have been a student at Ferndale-Dale High School, not only the basic tools with which to learn, but also a genuine desire to learn. Further, I would challenge you to put your learning to use in lives that are morally, physically, socially, and spiritually sound. Sincerely, Elmer J. Berkebile Supervising Principal

Berkebile, Supervising Principal; Mr. Russell Grumling. Assistant Supervising Principal. FERNDALE-DALE JOINT SCHOOL BOARD The efficiency with which the Joint Board of Directors governs our school does not change with the seasons. When they are elected in the fall of the year, they immediately start organizing and taking charge of school affairs. Throughout the fall and winter they are ready to face any problems that may occur and are always using their initiative and leadership to improve our school system. With the arrival of spring is graduation; our school board lends a helping hand in preparing for that memorable day in our lives. Spring also means the closing of school and many of us sit back to enjoy a long summer vacation. But the school board continues working with Summer School and preparing for the opening of school in the fall. This year the school board, under the leadership of Mr. Harry Hamilton, has done a fine job worthy of our thanks and appreciation. SCHOOL BOARD.
