Salute to a Queen Bee MISS DOROTHY HOFFMAN We, the graduating class of nineteen hundred fifty-four, are proud and happy to dedicate this thirty-first volume of the REFLECTOR to Miss Dorothy Hoffman. In choosing a faculty member to whom we wished to dedicate the yearbook, we sought someone who had helped us in many ways during our high school years. Miss Hoff- man, quiet, soft-spoken, friendly, and efficient, is our very competent teacher of shorthand and typing. She is also one of the advisors of the Junior Class, takes care of all absentee ex- cuses, and supervises the mimeographing aid ditto work which is to be done for the school. She is the faculty advisor who organizes the Junior-Senior Reception, an event so outstanding that she deserves much credit. The Senior Class wishes to express its hearty appreciation for all the many things that she has done for them, and has meant to the students of Ferndale High. We say to her, Good luck and a fervent hope for success throughout the years to come.
