Junior Play QUIT YOUR KIDDING The Fernald High School Junior Class Play, Quit Your Kidding , a farce comedy in three-acts, was presented in the high school audi- torium on October ZZ, 1952. Gladys Fincham The Bufords have had a hard tirne since the death of Mr. Buford, with little money and many bills. Evelyn, who is twenty., works in an office and helps as much as possible but the fifteen-year-old twins, Winnie and Binnie, have to be provided for. Mrs. Buford happens to think of her husband's rich old maid aunt who lives in California. She writes to her and tells her about her three fine children. After de- scribing Evelyn, she says: I wish you could see the twins, Winnie and Binnie. Soon a letter comes from Aunt Sophronia saying she is going East soon and will stop over for a few days' visit. She says she is glad the children are all girls because she loathes and despises boys. Her last sentence is like a bombshell. I intend to give each of your girls a check for 55000. Evelyn and Binnie are thrilled, but poor Winnie is disconsolate. He won't get a cent. Suddenly Winnie has an inspiration, he will borrow some of Binnie's clothes and pass for a girl while Aunt Sophronia is there and he too will get 55000. Aunt Sophronia arrives and the fun begins. Complications occur which they hadn't foreseen. The secret almost comes out several times, but they succeed in covering it up. Then a surprising event takes place which makes everything all right and Winnie gets his big check after all.
