Senior Skip Day , The eleven members of the Senior Class and Mr. Begg spent Thursday, May 7, in Des Moines, enjoying Senior Skip Day. We arrived in Des Moines about 9:30 and im- mediately proceeded to the Municipal Courthouse where we attended a court session and also toured the jail and other points of interest. At noon we went to Mac Rae Park where we ate a delicious picnic dinner. After dinner we went to the Airport Driving Range, and later put our practice to use by playing rniniature golf. At 5 o'clock we drove to the RKO Orpheum Theater where we all witnessed our first 3-Dimen- sional movie, House of Wax. Two hours of bowling follow ed the movie. We then stopped at Lonnie's Drive-In for lunch. The day's entertainment ended with a stop at a base- ball batting range. After several futile attempts at this, the boys decided to call it quits, After a strenuous, but wonderful day, we began our journey home. 5. f-'PJ '
