A TRIBUTE TO . . . Mr. Ralph Cerrato who greatly assisted our class as the administrative advisor during our junior year. We are thankful for the time, hard work, and suggestions that pointed us toward a successful senior year and a memorable time at Fermi High. Mrs. Carol Albert, former physical education teacher and coach a ' Fermi, who was fundamental to the growth of girls’ interscholastic sports, bringing statewide recognition to our school and developing high stand- ards of performance and spirit among her players. Mr. Richard Kisiel, former housemaster, who guided many of our students and aided us in a variety of student activities. His enthusiasm, efficiency and involvement will long be remembered. . . Dr. Franklin Gross who is the man responsible for the progressive curriculum in our Social Studies Department. He has been instrumen- tal to the development of the Lamplighters Drama group, and is the advisor to the nationally recognized Fermi ‘76 bicentennial program. “You can inspire in youth a love of knowledge, and make all its avenues look delight- ful. You can unlock the books, which are treasure houses of human wisdom, and give them a golden key ... You can create a love of investigation and give it direction. Y ou can enlarge the knowledge of the people in common things and thus lay the foun- dation of common sense.” Dr. Seaman A. Knapp 7

DEDICA TION We, the class of 1975, dedicate this book to Mr. Peter Stasz- ko, a man who has consistently devoted his life to educating the youth of Enfield. In the classroom Mr. Staszko’s very spe- cial ability for learning and growing with his students left memorable impressions on all he taught. His warm-hearted personality, coupled with the experience and guidance he shared, has earned him unfailing respect from fellow teachers, parents, and students alike. Upon his retirement in June 1974, Mr. Staszko reached a milestone of 39 years in the teaching profession. In honoring him we acknowledge his many contri- butions and wish him many years of happiness ahead. “Live for something. Do good and leave be- hind you a monument of virtue that the storm of time can never destroy. Write your name in kindness .. .on the hearts of thou- sands you come in contact with each year; you will never be forgotten.” Chalmers 6
