FOREIGN LANGUAGE The Foreign Language Department encourages students to study a foreign lan- guage in order to create a better understanding between nations, to appreciate their literature, culture and life style, while at the same time improving their potential in the world of work. With the above objectives in mind, we offer all students sequential programs in Spanish, French, Italian and German. SOCIAL STUDIES The Fermi Social Studies Department is committed to a program based on “The Three Ts: Individuality, Inquiry and Involvement. Full year, semester and quarter courses are offered, dealing not only with America, but with all parts of the world, including Europe, Africa, Asia, Canada, Latin America, and the Middle East.
