In the large majority, the members of your class have had from birth the privileges which accompany position, fine cultural background and sound economic standing. The responsibility of girls such as you, who comprise the graduating class of Fermata, is a positive one. You will be obliged to take your place in all movements for social betterment. It is fitting that you meet this challenge, and that you stand in the forefront with those leaders who by their attitudes and activities serve as examples of what can be expected of fine womanhood. In so doing, you will be making use of what we have tried to teach you in this school. May I express the personal hope that if ever there comes a time when one of you doubts the soundness of a decision to be made, or a road to be followed, or a course to pursue-you will turn to us for help.
