This annual will continue to grow in importance and interest during the years ahead. It is another of these American traditions which emphasizes the reality of each individua1's opportunity to develop and grow in a free society. It is a testimony of our so- ciety's interest in each individual, and an example of allowing each person to develop to the best of his ability. Most of you have accepted the challenge and have whole- heartedly attempted to build yourself into fine school citizens. This will reflect later in your community citizenship wherein you can repay the community's investment in you. Congratulations upon the completion of your training here, and the completion of this splendid record of your activities and ach- ievements. We hope that you continue to grow and develop and serve as a living testimony that this Community's trust in you and in its democratic way of life will be defended and secured by your life. gmigmgglgg :...i..fii21iGER -d Chester Rosengren, Mel Olson, A. A. Vollbrecht, L. li. Wermager, john Diese-th, Dr. Carl Lund Dr. Kenneth Severn. This annual is a record of your school life. Through it you will be able to review the school activities and to determine to what extent you have profited from its curricular and extra-cur- ricular offerings. Have you accepted the challenges which the school has of- fered? Have you done your best? Will the community's faith in you be realized? We can use the annual as a rough guide I0 determine Ollf strength and weaknesses. To the underclassmen- another annual and another chance to change the record. To the graduating senior, a justifiable pride in work done and an opportunity for further growth. EDWARD W. BECHTEL 1 6 -' Principal
