UHCHESTHH New tyrnpani were added to the orchestra this yearl Their first public appearance was on March 7, when the orchestra and band gave a concert. The orchestra played only one piece, l-laydn's Syr'nphonie Militairen in Three movements. The orchestra has made several appearances this year, playing al a convocation, for the class plays and appearing in the conlesf Concert. This year for The music contest the orchestra played The Adagio Palheliaueu by Beni. Godard. Bass Viol l94l is engraved on the orchestra trophy because they were rhis year's best section.
