U.S. History, World History, Civics and Commercial Geography are subjects with which we will come in contact during high school. lt is the hope of every Social Studies teacher that when you graduate, you will finally know where America is located and what 1492 and 1776 mean. Amidst these exclamations, though, in the various fields of science, Fenger students are very fortunate. Fenger's science faculty, headed by Mr. Koranda, is one of the best in Chicago. 'I2 1 Under the capable leadership of Mrs. Munson, the teachers in the language department at Fenger have striven to make their subjects more interesting to their students. Through the use of new teaching aids, the organization of language clubs and the presentation of a professional language show this ,N spring, these teachers certainly have accomplished what they had set out to do. The tape recorder helps to improve one's pronunciation in this atomic age, with a strong emphasis on academic education, some must continue to be concerned with the business world.
