We are the youth preparing for the drama of Life We must be Well prepared, for the success of the play hinges upon our ability to play our parts Well. Through the years at Fenger We have rehearsed long and hard. Some have become adept in commercial and vocational courses so that they can take their places in those fields. Many have prepared and planned to con- tinue in the halls ot higher learning. Yes, We have rehearsed many things, studying, playing, grow- ing, and developing our minds and bodies, but the most important thing we have learned at Fenger is to be good Americans. Fenger is a melting pot where all races, religions, and nation- alities have come together to make a truly democratic school. We are playing our drama of Lite before an audience of a world enveloped in turmoil and War. The only Way to find peace in this seething furnace is through understanding among nations. By working tor closer unity here in our own high school We shall be doing our part toward achieving that goal ot peace. Are we pre- pared? Each one oi us should check ourselves to find our Weak spots because the rehearsal is almost over. On stage everybody--the curtain is rising. 'IO
