Peggy Sewalson Secretary Connie Thiedermen Treasurer Mary Jo Emanuel - Representative 'JoAnn Dgsgh Class Advisor Mr. Harris S- 1950 M SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The time has come for our ship of ,50 to leave the port of Federal Way for distant shores. For four years we have been before the mast as apprentice seamen in the roles of students, athletes. musicians, artists, and actors. Carrying out these talents with new- found ones is now our task. Out of the 59 in our class many have been at Federal Way all four years of their high school career-Ain fact, 40 in all-9 have been attending since they were first graders. Chosen to lead our activities of this year were Gerry Kilcup, presidentg Peggy Sewalson, vice-president, Mary .Io Emanuel, treasurerg Connie Thiederman, secretary, and jo Ann Desch, rep- resentative to the student council. Mr. Harris helped us in many ways as our class advisor. Our major project was the Senior Play, Accidents Will Happenf presented on the 18th of November. In the spring a memorable Senior Ball was given for all. F. H. A., Glee and Art provided enjoyment for many students. Other seniors participated in extra-curricular activities such as sports, represented by the Let- terman's Club and G. A. A. Several members of the class helped with the preparation and promotion of the carnival. The class will and prophecy was given at a Senior Assembly a few weks before graduation. Climaxing the whole vear was baccalaureate followed by graduation. The seniors, wearing blue caps and gowns, marched clown the aisle to '4Pomp and Circumstancef'
