CHAPEL AND VESPERS HOMECOMING ORGANIZATIONS GREEKS QUEENS SPORTS DORMITORY ASSOCIATION Our Student Government Fayetteville State College is in a state of great advancement and progress. Many new physical facilities are being added to our campus and entrance requirements are being raised. All of these factors are exerting their influence on the student body. Students are therefore required to think more critically now than ever before in the history of the college. Student leadership and organization are needed as we accept the challenges before us. Students, faculty, and administration will have to combine their resources in order to produce the student capable of competing in this, the Great Society. This is what we, the students, have been and still are working for. Our aim shall be to build tomorrow ' s Fayetteville State College as different from today ' s as a rocket is from a rowboat. We can no longer afford the hypocrisy and complacency which the past generations have accepted. We are not satisfied with just more students. We want men and women great enough in heart, mind and muscle to match the marvel of our technology. We want to be remembered as the generation who dared not only to go fast- er and harder, but who set in operation our beliefs and convictions. The Student Government has a new and changing role as we expand into new dimensions. mmmmamm The President Speaks To The Students Lanford confers with V.
