Mr. Sasser Guides School Mr. Sasser exemplifies the qualities of patience and understanding necessary to carry out the duties of a high school principal. Firm, fair, and positive, Mr. John T. Sasser guides the des- tiny of Fayetteville Senior High School. His methods of dealing with student and fac- ulty problems each day are a credit to his executive ability. He relies on good judgment and a sense of fairness to maintain a cooperative spirit between faculty and students. The office of principal re- quires devotion to one’s work and love of students. As leader of a large and progressive school, Mr. Sasser’s is a full- time job. In addition to his many responsibilities during the school day, he directs all extra-curricular activities of the school. Mr Sasser acts as the important link between the City Board of Education and Fayetteville Senior High. During his eight years as principal, Mr. Sasser has estab- lished a progressive .and ef- ficient system at FHS. He has earned the lasting respect and admiration of both the faculty and the student body. Mr. Sasser presides during the band’s Christmas assembly. 28 A faithful Bulldog supporter, Mr. Sasser checks the attendance before departing for the basketball game in Raleigh.
