Fayetteville is able to maintain its high stand- ards because of the unselfish dedication of the mem- bers of the school board who serve without pay. d Keid Koss Js SupemtmdeHt Just as the success of the country depends largely upon the quality and ideals of its leader, the effective- ness of a school system hinges on the caliber of its superintendent. We, at Fayetteville Senior High School, credit the smooth organization of our city’s system to Mr. C. Reid Ross. Since 1951, when Mr. Ross came to Fayetteville to assume his role as superintendent, he has made numer- ous friends here. Among these are the students of F.H.S. Mr. Ross has many times interrupted his busy schedule to attend F.H.S. assemblies, aw ' ards programs, and graduations. We are grateful to Mr. Ross both for the fine job he is doing for our school system and for the needed encouragement he is always willing to offer to F.H.S. 25
