People who have just solved “word” problems in a math class know just how true that statement is. Taking math is more than just learning to work problems mechanically. In the three-year course offered at Fayetteville High, a student has an ample opportunity to become well acquainted with algebra, geometry, trigonome- try, solid geometry and general or advanced math. The programmed learning courses allow the student to progress at his own pace. This enables some to finish more than one math course during the school year. MRS.
