The preparations for the National Scholastic Art Award include unbaked brick carvings, water color, R the campus with student art works. Mrs. lnez Cloud Brooks, our art teacher, graduated from George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville, Tennessee with a B.A. degree. This is the first year that Mrs. Brooks has been a member of our staff. Previously she had been dividing her time among the city schools. im She and her classes are responsible for the show cases and V decorations of our school. Guidance gives unlimited help Guidance is a necessary part of school life, since most students con- sult with the guidance counselor on various matters.
