22 U1 4-1- O -5 .C O -is vi- 3' F0 Q Q UI Ui O -is E U1 O0 Three vears ago, amid the excited, liurrving crowds of people, we shvlv pushed open a door to a future that we will always remember as those 'best Years of Uur Lives . Remember how scared we were as we looked around at all those upper-classmen? Vxfe really shouldn't have felt too bad, however, for we were not classified as little freshmen-we were the first class to enter the halls of F. H. S. as sopho- mores. Even then we felt verv voung and in- experienced amid the lofty seniors, and proud juniors. That first vear in F. l-l. S. we chose vers' capable leaders to help us through our struggle. As President was Earl Riddleg Vice-President. Linda lilfmong Secretary, Constance Rouseg and Treasurer, joel Goodrich. As representa- tives to our student council were David Bryan, Sara Sue NlcComb, jimmy Nance, and jane Tarlton. hflanv wonderful things happened to our classmates that vear. Vx7e'll never forget that thrilling night when a member from our own class was crowned bliss F. H. S. We were verv proud of Grace lvlcbrvde for walking awav with the trophy and title. To our delight. we also had Linda Hall in the queens court. Before we knew it, a vear had flown bv. and we were once more walking through that same door we had entered as scared sophomores. There was a big difference in the was' we walk- ed this time. Vxfe held our heads high and re- lished the thought of being upper-classmen rather than frightened little Mgreenhornsu, This second vear we chose David Bryan as Presidentg Nladeleine Evans. Vice-President: Ann l-lauser. Treasurer: and Glenda Hyman as Secretary. As representatives to the Student Council were David Bryan, john Childs, julia I-lumphrevs, l'u111' Si.i'f1 lfll i l l Constance Rouse, and Libbv Tavlor. Qui' juror vear was met with manv responsibilitiesziyt were now readv to prove our loftv position. Vvith spring we began making plans for mi annual Nliss F. H. S. contest, which was or i responsibilitv this vear. The choice of the judges for the fairest ' them all was Annette Rav. and a very preti choice. too. Remember how thrilled we weij over having one of our own classmates wi again? Besides Nliss F. H. S. our class furnisll ed three members of the court-Linda l-lallj Constance Rouse. and Betty Wociteii. Our nexl l big moment was decorating for our junior- c t Senior. That will be a memorv we'll keep for- Q. ever. The theme i'Some Enchanted Evening, c left us trulv enchanted as we came to the end of a perfect vear. Qff that summer to girlis state we sent Sara Sue iX leComb and Lynne Eubank, two well chosen representatives. We became a trifle sad as we watched Kdarshals julia Humphreys, joel Goodrich, Grace lVlcBrvde, lvladeleine Evans, Buddy Vxfilkins, Durant Vick. and Constance Rouse lead the seniors down the aisle at gradua- tion. VVe knew that it wouldnit be long before we would take their place, Finallv, we have reached the last lap of our journey. Nlanv wonderful memories are in our hearts as we rapidly approach graduation. We proudly chose Clem Iordan President to guide us through this eventful vear. Qui' Vice-Presi- dent is john Buieg Secretary, Elizabeth Tavlorg Treasurer. Ann Hauser. Representing us on the Student Council are Harold Fisher. julia Hum- phreys, Tommy Reaves, and Constance Rouse.
