'E z Q J' f fo 4 f if ,' 'g,...,..Q, ' gfaqf. ,4 ,-. 1939-1954 Tommye Jean Lynch. born March 28. 1939. in Fayetteville. North Caro- lina, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Lynch. Her elementary education was re- ceived at Central School. She spent her seventh and eighth grades at Alexander Graham Junior High School. where she was a member of the Teen-Age Club and Glee Club. She was an active member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Tommye's love was her dancing. Unusually talented, she participated in several local talent shows. as well as in school programs. Her love for others inspired her to dance at sev- eral polio benefit shows. Little did she know that she herself would be a victim of this dread disease. On July 29, 1954, it stopped Tom- mye's tapping feet. Her personality and her talent are remembered by those of us who knew and loved her. She whom the gods Iozie dies young. I 11 1 l'lr: Irv' Margaret Elizabeth Blair, known to her friends as Betsy, was born August 9, 1940, in Social Circle. Georgia. She was the daughter of Major and Mrs. John D. Blair III. Betsy attended school with us in Alexander Graham Junior High School, and during her Sophomore and part of her Junior year, she at- tended Fayetteville Senior High School. In FHS, she participated in The Future Homemakers of America. The Girl's Athletic Association, The Future Nurses, and the Library Club: she attended the Main Post Chapel. In Februa1'y of 1957. Betsy moved to Forest Park, Georgia. On April 4, 1957. our Betsy moved again-to her final home. Her fatal accident took place in her home when a gun accidentally was dis- charged. To know Betsy was to love her, for her warm friendly smile and personality endearcd her to every- one. Earl1l. bright, transient, chaste, as IIbOl'7l171.g dew, She sparkled, was e.rhaZ'd. and went io heaven.
