'I-'Z DORIS JEAN AVERITTE 1932-1946 Doris lean Averitte, daughter of hirs. 13. E. Averitte and of the late hir. P. E. Averitte, was born hlarch 21, 1932, and resided at 118 Bridge Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina, during her all-too-short but happv fourteen vears. Doris was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and attended Sunday School regularly. Her first six vears of school, 1938-1944, were spent at Central Grade School. Her other two vears were spent at Alexander Graham Iunior High School. Un August 18, 1946, shortlv before she was to enter Senior High, Doris lean was killed in an automobile accident. Though it was not permitted her to accompany her friends and classmates through high school and graduate with the Class of 1950, the members of her class would Pav tribute to their friend. H5126 ltmssen' tfrroffgfr Gloryis morning gate and zufzlfes in Pm'f1n'ise.n Remembered ond Deorlq Loved RICHARD GEORGE WARREN 'I932-1946 Richard George Vxfarren, son of Nlr. and 1N1rs, 1XV1arshall Lee W11r'rei1, was born in Dunn, North Carolina, on Iulv 13, 1932. In 1936 he and his lamilv moved to Favetteville. At the age of six Richard entered the First grade at Has'- mount School. After graduating from Havmount and lunior High School, Richard entered Senior High School where he was a freshman at the time of his death. Richard took part in manv religious, social, and school activities. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a regular member of the Sunday School there. Vxlhile in lunior and Senior High School Richard was a member of the band and Boy Scout Troop 11. Had he lived, Richard would have been a member of the graduating class of 1950. Although he died at an earlv age, Richard showed great promise of being a voting man 'of sterling character and rare efiiciencv. His friendly and liltable personality won him mans' friends who will always remember him.
