They take time out from war and peer into the future, trying to picture what our country will be like after this confiict-what new methods of travel will appear, what wondrous achievements in science will startle the world, what improvements in living and ad- vancements in culture will emerge. Cn every side, moreover, there is talk of a wonder- ful utopia. a country based completely on the four freedoms. Yes, wonderful to dream of-but how to transform this dream into reality is a task more difhcult even than winning the war. America knows what it takes to win the war-men, guns, planes, tanks, shipsg but what is the answer to winning the peace? The answer is Gd'IlC'lll'l0Il, complete. unbiased. For with education shall come not only knowledge, but also tolerance, discipline, understanding, brotherhood co-opera- tion, a respect for the rights of others. and a true sense of values. Education will decide whether this war, too, has been in vain, ln truth, education is the hope of the world. Thus the destiny of America is being shaped in the classrooms of today. Never has so much depended on so many, for today's youth is 'ttomorrow's America. Newton Robertson, Jr. iii' . fy? . ' X ,Q
