Your parents, your teachers, your pastors and your friends are quite proud of you, and their prayerful wish for you is that the years ahead will prove even more successful. Whether these years will be few or many, God only knows, nor does it matter much when one ponders on your ultimate purpose in life. Holy Church enumerates among her canonized saints and heroes many youthful persons as well as those more mature in years. Your educators have thus far striven to form in you all that is uniquely divine and also all that is unique- ly human. By fusing the two, they hope to have made you a near approach to 'Lanother Christ. Let you now build wisely on this foundation, always remembering that you are a res sacra -a sacred thing, you come from God, you belong to God, God has planned for you a glorious eternal destiny. 'Learn of Me, 'fFollow Me, are His invitation and command.
