unior Sodality The main purpobe of the .lunior Sodality is to prepare the candidate for the life ot' a soclalist. lnder the guid- ance of Sister Xlary Helen, the Junior Socialists spend their time in learning the rules and regulations of the Sodality. They become het- ter acquainted with these rules 'hy various apostolic projects such as making up food lxzisliets for the poor and participating in the cru- sade of prayer for the con- version offoinrnunists. Not only do they perform serv- ices for others, hut more, they strengthen their own spiritual life. 'lihe Clulx enahled the eaniera enthusiast to learn the techniques ot' de- veloping, printing and en- larging photographs. Two highlights featured this year were the visiting of the Burlalo livening News and the Bethlehem Steel plants. 'lihe nieinhers were afforded a wonderful opportunity for garnering slide pictures of the indus- trial life of lvoth plants. The purpose of this club is to develop scientists for tomorrow. Since a great deal of reading and prepa- ration is necessary, the clulw gives students an idea of what research demands of a sei- entist. It also aequaints memliers with recent developments in scientific Yields. During the course of the meeting, lfatlier allows the memlwers some time for reading prepared papers, time to work on projects, and also to do demonstrations.
