Pat Warner was installed as president, and Portis Cunning- ham, Sarah Bowen, Nancy Helms Lowry, Dortha Lael, and Mary Elizabeth Smith took their place as new members. Our activities for the year included a tea, Thanksgiving boxes for some poor families, the Christmas tree and boxes of toys for the children of the Tiger home mission school, and the lovely Christmas pageant. In addition to these usual activities, we bought clothes for Mrs. Stegall to give to the African children, and we contributed 525.00 to the work in Africa. The Vesper Cabinet brought its year's work to a close with its usual final candlelight service. Page Thirty-four
