SENIORS As the 1987 — 88 school year draws to a close so does an important era in the lives of the members of the class of '88. The doors of FHS shut behind us as we take on the challenges and responsibilities of the adult world. We go forth into the world confident that our years here have prepared us well. This year has been filled with a great many accomplishments by the graduating class, both on the sports field and in the classroom. Athletically, seniors have led the way to a winning season in every sport. On the academic side of the coin, eight seniors were selected to participate in the Century III competition. Four members of the senior class enrolled in a college calculus course on the local Penn State campus. These student leaders of today are the future doctors, lawyers, politicians, writers, teachers, and businessmen who will shape tomorrow's world. Although we will all go our separate ways in the years to come, we will always be bound together by the memories of the years we have shared here. CWhat did you enjoy most about your senior year? ALandy Currie . .. nice teachers and good friends. Russell Bennett .. . Mrs. Hrycyk and Mrs. Kudelko, my two favorite teachers. Melinda Bowe ... how the student body and faculty accepted my return — especially the class of '88.
