F HHAGUT MAKES THE HE!-UJLI ES 0 HARVEY HORWICH Publicity Director During the academic year T9-131944, Farragut High School reached a high note in recognition from the city press. The hig five of our Chicago Dailies, the Herald-American, News, Times, Tribune, and Sun, have all accorded much space to the varied activities of Farragut High School. Due recognition was given to her music fes- tivals, athletic contests, war aids, scholastic attainments, and social engagements. In addition, the weekly column 6'Farragut Flashesf, written by Harvey L. Horwich of the faculty, made its appearance every Sunday in the West Side News. Thus the city at large, and our community in particular, are now aware of Farragut as a school where things get done. Among the press items of the year we find: Wo, Page 3 0
