Watcrli Home Economics in action. Girls like it. lt helps to build up social attitudes and qualities as well as to develop personally useful skills. The Home Economics classes are daily inspiring girls to better standards of living and aiding them to preserve the homes the boys are fighting for. The war has vitalized the studies of Food and Nutrition, Clothing and Homemaking. Every girl with a knowledge of better living will be a force establishing a firmer foundation for future posterity. Physim-al education at Farragut, as shown on the pages to follow, offers all students a well rounded program planned for the development of each individual to the full extent of his abilities in the field of his ehoice. The various Sports and Activities aim at the highest de- velopment of individual skills, initiative, and resoureefulness plus the cooperative thought and action that produces Team Play. The department believes this is the way to Victory. The ability to think while we run, to keep poise under pres- sure, and the Spirit of Fair Play, enable Farragut people to win without. gloating, and lose without glowering, meeting every situation as lt comes.
