Mrs. Broyles was the bookkeeper and was in charge of all financial records. Mrs. Chilcote was secretary to Mr. Whitt and Mr. Bellamy. Mrs. Cordell, secretary to the guidance de- partment, took care of schedules and filed and recorded grades. GUIDING THE STUDE TS Mr. Harry Whitt, assistant principal, is constantly working to keep our school on schedule. Mr. Whitt takes care of adminis- trative duties such as keeping attendance records, conducting fire drills, and aiding in discipline. Mrs. Kate Hayworth was busy this year working with students to solve problems of schedules, transcripts, and tests. E GLISH TEACHES SKILL s si 'Q Under the direction of Miss Glover, the English Department is constantly striving to help students meet their English require- ments. The ever expanding English program has so widened its curriculum that two more teachers were added to the staff. Newly initiated elective courses have been offered to the Junior and Senior English students. This program enables the students to choose four areas which he feels would benefit him the most.
