CLASS NIGHT Class night is held a week before graduation and is a time when awards are given to all deserving seniors, the class history is read, and the wills are given. A candlelight ceremony is traditionally observed and seniors sentimentally remember all the good times shared by individuals and friends. SENIOR DAY. . . DAY OF REVENGE Senior Day, a tradition that Seniors will never give up, is a time of fun and privileges. Underclassmen must obey the slightest command of a senior, and obey with a smile. Seniors are served lunch by themselves in the cafeteria without the threat of an underclassman getting there first. up- -- X . 'CFP Miss Glover has been teaching since 1925g her first position was with the Lenior City School Board, after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee. She remained with Lenior City school system for 21 years. In 1946 she taught in the Chattanooga Junior high for one year, then attended Peabody College to begin work on her Masters, degree. She taught at Ellicott City School from 1947 until 1952. In 1954 Miss Glover took her position on the front line of the Farragut High School faculty. Miss Glover has always had a deep interest in the students' welfare and has identified herself with Seniors by being a Senior class sponsor, helping with the Beauty Pageant, and serving as the yearbook advisor. Miss Glover, the Senior Class of 1969 speaks for all graduated classes of the past years in saluting you for a job well done. 134
