ART CLUB DE The purpose of the Art Club is to give interestedstudents an opportunity to develop their talents and to deepen their appre- ciation of art. During the school year club members were involved in making and selling art objects. Proceeds from these sales were used to finance field trips for the purpose of sketch- ing, painting, and visiting museums and galleries. FCA INVGKES CHRISTIAN ATTITUDES The Fellowship of Christian Atheletes is devoted to establishing Christian attitudes and ideals in its members. During the year, the FCA had several speakers including various atheletes from the University of Tennessee. OFFICERS: Wilburn Raby, Ricky Kirby, Charlie Jones, and Robin Cauble. The Drama Club, under the direction of a new sponsor, Mr. George Heuchart, presented three plays shortly after the be- ginning of the school year. THE DEVIL AND DANIEL WEBSTER, THE BOOR, and THE BALD SOPRANO pro- vided entertainment for both the school and community. Several club members partici- pated in the Senior Class play, while other members assisted in making scenery and con- ducting tryouts. ?
