STUDENT COUNCIL PRO IDES FOR The Student Council is concerned with the general welfare of the school. Its primary objec- tive is to develop attitudes of good citizenship, to promote harmonious relation throughout the school, to improve school morale, and to provide a forum for student expression. The Student Council established a student- faculty committee which was composed of mem- bers and nonmembers. It was formed to alleviate communication problems between the faculty, administration, and student body. Other activ- ities sponsored by the Student Council were: the Sadie Hawkins Dance, the Valentines Dance, a note card sale, and the Christmas baskets. High idealism and good judgement are joined together in service to the school and community. The Key Club sponsored a Chicken Supper and assisted with the School Beautification Pro- ject. The Club also was in charge of operating the fountain after school. Key Club Members at one of several clean-up days sponsored by the club. Posts were erected to keep drivers off the grass. 106
