5 X Sl HIHS MARY ELAINE GARRISON NANNIE LOU GILLIAM GRACE EVELYN GOIN Elaine Nan Evelyn Really, we reached importance in our .Tunior year. Our class officers were: President, Johnnie Harwood: Vice-President, Betty .To Cookg Secretary, Marie Shepardg Treasurer, Phillip Cooke, and S.C.A, representative, Sue Hudson. These officers and members of our committee served very capably. Class rings were ordered - the annual staff as usual went around begging us to purchase the biggest and best yet. Football season came and went by quickly. Our boys basketball team captured the district III championship AGAIN by route of an undefeated season. Then came those wonderful plans for the Junior-Senior Dance! Can you recall all the paper flowers and lattice work? Remember Al and his gang struggling with that 30 - foot May pole ?
