Cl0$$e$ The bustling in the halls as we change classes. . .congregating at the water fountain. . .hurriedly exchanging greetings as we rush to our next classes . . . dropping a book. . .Was that test hard? ... I have some - thing to tell you ! —and then— cement -bound silence as the last students slip unobtrusively into their seats. The only sounds are the voices of teachers as they attempt to lay foundations for our futures. 13
