eniom In the fall of l947, 72 freshmen entered the halls of F. C. H. S. As our class officers we elected: Harold Van Houten, President, Marilyn Petrini, Vice-President, and Eugene Muzzarelli, Secretary-Treasurer. About the mid- dle of October, the day that all freshmen dreaded was initiation, but as we look back it will be one of the most memorable days in F. C. H. S. for the class of '5l. When spring came preparations for the Freshmen-Eighth-grade party were in full swing. ln the fall of l948 fifty-nine were starting their second year in F. C. H. S. Class officers elected this year were: Jim Brentz, President, Victor Venturi, Vice-President, and Pat Faylor, Secretary-Treasurer. The greatest thrill of our sophomore Year was the undertaking of serving at the Junior- Senior Prom. We also served at the Alumni Banquet. We are no longer underclassmen but fifty-six courageous upperclass- men. We elected as our class officers: Gordon Wilson, President, Marilyn Petrini, Vice-Presidentz and Helen Zeglen, Secretary-Treasurer. To increase the class income we sold at basketball and football games, and we also put on the Junior Class play, Huck Finn. ln November we had the great privi- lege of selecting our class rings. Spring rolled around and what we had been anticipating for three years was finally here, The Prom. As the theme for our Prom we chose, Honeysuckle Time on the Old Plantation. To finish our last high school days we came back with fifty-three sen- iors. The class officers were: Victor Venturi, President, David Wake, Vice- President, and Mary Jane Kepple, Secretary-Treasurer. We had the pleas- ure of putting on the Senior Class Play, We had the wonderful privilege of being guests of the Juniors at Prom and also the guests of the Alumni for the Alumni Banquet. Graduation ends four successful years in Farmington Community High School that will never be forgotten. Kg ft, 11? !
