Tl-IE. ARGUS The Argus must be out on time was the motto of the Ar- ' ' gus Staff of 1947-48. The paper was assembled and distributed Executive Edltors the fifth hour every Friday, The success- of the Argus this past year was due to the efficiency of the staff and their advisor. Miss Lewis. whose new and realistic ideas would be an inspiration to any staff to do good work. And then too. the executive editors. who were elected every nine weeks. deserve high praise. During the school year the ineinberg of the Argus staff enjoyed a weiner roast. a newspaper party. and an enjoyable trip to the windy city of Chicago. They also presented a three-act comedy, Three Blind Dates. at the Fll'9lll9l'1.S Fair on Feb- ruary 4. This year Iueiubers of the Argu: earned their position: on the paper by a point basis. Points were given for each story written. set-up and steuciled. Positions are 'iwarded every nine weeks.
