First Team Basketball Squad ,Lff .ff 'si A Ez- ,, 3 1 f me A A Y 'iii . f J f'g,: X Q K G Manager X i -Q-.ifjrj The season opened with our Homecoming game, October 12, Richland traveled to Farmington and defeated us 78-47, Lois Hanan was high scorer for Farmington with 39 points, October 26th, we journeyed to Argyle only to be defeated 26-21, Hanan was high scorer again with ll and Sue Swan came close behind with 10, On our 3rd game we traveled to Montrose and were defeated again, Our girls were .xo match for Montrose's height, We were beaten 71-56, Lois again being high scorer with 26 points, On November 6th, the tide turned for us, We went to Hillsboro and defeated their sextette 37-22, Hanan pumped in 19 points for Farmington while Sue Swan trailed her with IZ, Bonaparte ventured here November 9th and met with defeat, Although Bonparte led 10-7 at the half, we climbed to the top and defeated then 22-19, Hanan scored 10 points, Sue Swan 9. Stockport skinned us on our home floor November 16th with a score of 58-28, Hanan scored 15 points for the Wildcats while Sue Swan scored 9, But the next game found us at Cantril, Hanan scored 21 points, letting us win a close victory of 32-29, Then on November 27th we were defeated 30-25 by Birmingham on their home floor, Hanan and Sue Swan were high scorers for Farmington with 12 and ll points but even though we lost we played our hardest, Following this game we played a return game with Sponsored by: FYE'S PLACE, Farmington, Iowa 37
