Dear Diary, At last it is over! All this excitement and suspense gets you down. Harriet Boswell was crowned queen and Don Neavill was crowned king in our annual Farmington High School Carni- val. The other candidates were: Donna Farnham, Janelle Highley, Betty Criteser, Jerry Sebastian, Roy Troutt, and Herbert Crites. The gals in their beautiful formals and the fellows in their best suits were enough to make your eyes pop out. They didn't look like the same people we see at school every day. The theme of the Coronation was Cinderella, and everyone thought it was very clever! We had our parade this afternoon with all of the class floats and king and queen candidates. Our float looked like one of the best, but I'm not prejudiced or anything, am I? Donna Farnham fell off the float during the parade, but she wasn't hurt fthat is, nothing was hurt except her dignityl. I really worked hard in the eats stand all day, but I en- joyed it. Cooking the food was the most fun because I got out of school all day. Maybe I shouldn't admit this, but who doesn't like a free day now and then!
