AND Yxg57 K A X 6 00 253422 ' 5-KH ' SENIOR PLAY On the night of February 23, l95l, the Seniors gave their play en- titled, nworrying Will1e.n We had twelve characters in this play, five boys and seven girls. It was a complete success. GRADUATION On the night of May 25, 1951 the dream of eighteen Seniors came true. Graduation had come at last. We listened to the speakerfs very interesting address. After the speech we received our long awadted diplomas. As we walked down the aisle we realized that we had at last reached the end of our high school days. JUNIOR-SENIOR.BANQUET One of the greatest events of the year for the Seniors was the banquet given by the Juniors. Everyone enjoyed the eve ing immensely. The girls were lovely in their evening dresses and the boys were very handsome in their dress suits. HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL On the 30th of October the annual Halloween Carnival was held. It was an evening of fun and gaiety for.all iho attented. The largest attraction was who crowning of the qpeens and kings. Those crowned were: Lucile Lakey and Bob Smith for the high schoolg Patsy Cline and Jim y Carter for the elementary gradesg Barbara Oakley and Billy Ellis for the primary grades. SNEAK DNY In the spring the Seniors had a Sneak Day. On this dmy they ex- changed their books for a glimpse of industrial Winston-Salem. They visited B. J. Reynolds Tobacco Factory, Journal and Sentinel, and P. H. Hanes Knitting Company. After this they topped it off ldth a picnic supper at Reynolds Park and a movie at the Carolina Theater. EKLENTINE.FESTIVAL 'llhe Juniors sponsored a Valentine Festival on February llq., 1951. T e purpose of this las to raise.money for the Junior-S nior Bmnqpet. The chief attraction of this w s the crowning of the Valentine Sleet- hearts.
