' stands our beloved campus and as we leave to become alumni our hearts are sad. True we want to enter into the special fields for which we have been trained, to display the knowledge we've been taught here, but, why must two such wonderful years come to an end so abruptly? We will raise her name in glory . . and how could we but help it! We are proud of our school, our beloved faculty, and our never-dying school spirit. We have something to boast about at this school, something rarely found in other 2 year colleges. At SUATI we were shown real school spirit, the kind that never dies. We salute thee, alma mater, as we gather here today . . for you have shown us a unique way of life. lt is no wonder that we are saddened by our departure. All thy sons and all thy daughters will honor thee always . . because you have taught us more than that which can be learned from books, you have taught us to love you and all you stand for. You have shown us the goodness of life itself. Fling wide your banner over us, fair hues of Green and White. How have you helped us? Let us count the ways that secure feeling of just knowing you were there . . . your warm, sincere smile . . . welcome friend- ship . . . diplomacy of the highest degree . . . im- measurable sense of humor . . . understanding . . . and kind, wise advice. No one seems to mind tedious work when the re- sults are satisfying. This then is why Student Council and the ISLANDER thought it was so easy to find a special someone. For the above and all the little extras, we want to dedicate to you, this--our yearbook with heart- felt gratitude. DlCATlO F' ,. Although this club is still in its youth, it has been quite successful with its discussions on the meaning of Christmas, courtship, marriage, and numerous other topics. Guest speakers seemed to stimulate the members interest. Lutheran Fellow- ship has grown considerably and we hope they continue to do so. 127 'T 1 'l'Ifrr.l rou Wcxr, li Lulxcr, Mcxulvcx, Q, Mmz1i'?xcx,N1:::.i'-:1, Il Nl. 31115, R 13. 3. ff.: Kr.:-:.s wa. Their functions have in- cluded guest speakers at their meetings, usually architects and contractors, who keep the students abreast of the latest technological advances. Among the numerous functions activated by the A.I.A. the B.C. Ball has always been the most noteworthy and will undoubtedly continue as such. This year's Ball Was held at Guy Lombardo's and the results were a huge success. This club is responsible for erecting the annual Nativity scene. A use o l , ' ' P. Cona ' h , A. Gaughran, G. Haydn.
