I I I I I I I I II I I I I I 'I , I Tl lj Aqqies Boxmq Club As' the echoes of the football' season rolled away and realizing that the long winter months were upon us a group of active students met to' discuss a means of providing a form of physical recreation to tide us ox er until spring A hard problem confronted us because of the lack of a gymnasium. This was soon solved by obtaining the use of a large basement room in Dorm 4 to carry on our activities. At our first meeting we unanimously decided that boxing and similar sport was the very thing we were most interested in. Therefore, we organized as the New York Aggies Boxing Club. ' . Since that time We have achieved the best of success, the Boxing Club standing for the highest ideals in sportsmanship. At the present period We are about to open our rooms, properly equipped, for the benefit of the entire student body. We are sure that this organization has certainly done a great deal towards promoting the social, and athletic life of the campus. 19 2.4 . NYS. SA. I T I' I . . B . We became organized in November with but a membership of six but since that time the enrollment numbers sixteen active live-wire members. , The club most sincerely regrets losing, by graduation, five of our most I praise-worthy members, but we hope to carry on with the same enthusiasm 'I and spirit the departing so ably helped foster. ,Q We also extend our congratulations to the graduating class of '24 and I hope that they all will succeed in their chosen vocation. t CHARTER MEMBERS I M. Ph1S1qma Chi RHO EPSTLON CHAPTER Rho Epsilon is a cogent factor at Nyssa and her members have always tural chapter of the Phi Sigma Chi fraternity but by voicing our views to other brothers We have attained our earnest desire to impart to them that agriculture is up to the standard enjoyed by other professions in which those brothers are concerned. This has been. our achievement since Tau Beta nationalized, and we now enjoy the distinction of being not only the first fraternity at Nyssa, but also the strongest and most active. Rho Epsilon is ia cogent factor at Nyssa, and her members have always endeavored to be foremost in fostering the scholastic, athletic and literary activities of the school. The graduating members, now entering the folds of inactivity, enjoy the faith which the remaining members place in them.
