Long lsland Universitq Grange g The Grange! A farmer's organization. Does it seem as though the city boys would be interested in such an organization? Listen to this: When school opened this fall there were only four old Grange members left, and none of them was well versed in the ideas and work of the Grange. But they were all intensely interested in the organization, and constantly circulated the fact, that there was such an organization in the school, and that it did a lot for the farmers. Now we have over thirty, live-wire mem- bers, and all of them are city boys. The Grange is now on its feet again, and it is our earnest desire to keep it so. It can do a great deal for the school and for its members, and an agricultural institute of this sort is the proper place in which to show the city boys the farmer's view of things. The graduating members have full confidence in those left behind them to carry on the work and prophecy that next year will be the biggest and best that this Grange has ever had. M. I. Pollet. S.
