NOVEMBER 13 Hornets 28 - Farmers 19 The Farmers spotted the Rayville Hornets two first-quarter touchdowns but came back fight- ing and almost pulled it out of the fire. After playing last week's game in freezing tem- perature, the eighty degree temperature was tiring on both teams. The climax of the game was an intercepted Hornet pass which Kirby Morris turned into a 41 yard touchdown run. Roan, E. Silmon, D. Adkins. NOVEMBER 20 Tigers 19 - Farmers 7 The Farmers held the Winnfield Tigers well but came out on the short end of a 19-7 score. Al- though a loss, this is a game which will long be remembered by the local fans. After going scoreless for almost four quarters and with less than 4 minutes left, the Farmers drove relentlessly through the middle of the Tiger defense for 75 yards and a touch- down! Jerry Tettleton picked up most of the yards, while Joe Albritton scored.
