Joe Dexter Albritton, as Macbeth, the southern gentleman, seems quite worried over the gypsies' prophecy. Decked out for the occasion are Carol Joyce Waller, Gayle Pinckard, and Becky Scott. Engaged in the last of Macbeth's battles are Billy Rex Green fMacDuffj and Paul Palmer fMacbethJ. This scene was depicted in the Cuban rebellion and Castro style. English J Activities Jeanette Long, along with Katie Ann Laster, shows off her English project on fingerprinting. This in- cluded charts on deciphering prints and pictures of actual prints made. Now it's beatnik style that the cast attempts to de- pict. Harry Farrar, Kirby Morris, and Jean Lamprich share this scene in Birnum Wood from Shakespeare's great play that is annually studied by the twelfth grade. Bruce Odom QDoctorJ and Johnny Norris fSeytonJ warn Macbeth, alias Rodney Harper, of the on- coming armies ready to attack him. This group performed another beanik dramatization.

Mr. Kurvis M. Burns visited the campus several Linda Black receives her class ring from Mr. Ingram times this year to take pictures of the individual Ballard. This is an event the seniors look forward students and of school activities. He should be to each year. commended for his fine work. This attractive float received a great deal of work and consideration from the 4-H members. Riding the float are Mary Roberts, Mac Washam, Carolyn Glass, and Flo Smith Csittingjg and Ronnie Nolan and Robbie James fstandingj. Many students visit the library each day to take ad- vantage of the references and other material found there. This is also a very popular place for study. a Glance The bookmobile visits our campus every two weeks to supplement the school library. This gives the students a wider variety of books from which to choose. rr. f

Gridiron Activities The senior members of the pep squad and band were honored during the last half-time activity on the gridiron as each one's name was called over the loud speaker and they proudly, but sadly, stepped forward FHS spam After a very spirited pep rally held in the auditorium, the majorettes and band led a long line of students resembling a snake dance down main street. Even the football team and the coaches joined in! The football team, led by the cheerleaders dressed in their new sweaters, came bursting through a decorated football under the goal post before the last game with Winnfield. The band, majorettes, and pep squad were lined on each side and gave a rousing cheer as the team appeared. ,wH ' At the end of the snake dance, in the center of the business district, the cheerleaders led the students and townspeople in yells for the team as they sat on the curb and watched. The band played Saints, and the crowd was off again, this time back to the school.
