Master of Ceremonies Joe Dexter Albritton was in charge of the program which carried out the theme With a Song In My Heart very successfully. V? , Ayhr V - ,.tt, .,.t I A A F, G Adinsfrel Jn-Sr. Banquet With a Song ln My Heart was a very successful theme for the 1959 Junior-Senior Banquet. Everyone in attendance enjoyed the program and, of course, the food. This group of junior girls provided delightful musical entertainment. Leadership Conference Leadership Conference was attended by seven of the junior class students. Those who went to visit the L. S. U. campus during June were, kneeling: Rodney Harper, Joe Dexter Albritton, and Harry Farrar. Standing: Carolyn Glass, Carol Joyce Waller, Jean Lamprich, and Christene Holloway. They attended classes in yearbook and newspaper while there. 5 Winning first place in the magazine sales was Steve Terral, right. Second place went to Meggie Baughman. Both of these received many prizes from the company for their good work. Pelican Sfafe Attending Pelican State this past summer at Baton Rouge were James Taylor, Gayle Pinckard, and Paul Palmer. Basis for selection was character, courage, honesty, leadership, scholastic ability, and coop- erativeness. The PLOW subscription sales contest was won by Gayle Pinckard who sold 49 subscriptions and received five dollars as first place prize. Runners-up were Carolyn Farley, third place with 44, and Brenda Anderson, second place with 47. Second place prize was three dollars and third place two dollars. Confesf Winners mm.mu-M
