Science Fair A group of seventh grade students view a project en- titled Space Travel, a blue-ribbon entry submitted by Mrs. Greer's second grade class. Joy Hodge is shown with her blue-ribbon winner, a project on embedding in plastic, which was very in- teresting and well done. ,J r :nf-wiv F B JET M57 fn 'nu.,., ,. - 41f., 41, X' Jet Propulsion, a project entered by Hoppy Hallman, also received a blue ribbon. The rocket powered by rocket fuel climbed up a spiral wire. Rudolph Thomas proudly looks upon his hot water heating system which won a blue ribbon in the fair. E Mrs. Sadie Farrar was really pleased with her group when their project, Sound, won a blue ribbon. 4-H Banquef A patriotic theme was carried out at the 1959 4-H Club banquet. The gala decorated speakers' table was the center of interest. i A' Mr. W. A. Downs, guest speaker, gives a very in- teresting speech on loyalty, which was very inform- ative. Some of the entertainment was provided by a tap number featuring Lynn Baughman and Patsy Ken- nedy, who are a popular duet when it comes to fine showmanship. ,ygg,'-'2f.,4f, ff-1 . ,sw V- 1-as :.1a.W, I Acfivifies Mr. Bruce Flint was presented with a travel alarm clock when he left his parish 4-H Club work to be- come program supervisor for the district.
