Sixth Grade Activities Mrs. I-Iarper's children are busy sketching pic- tures as an outcome of a unit in geography on the Balkan countries. Much interest is being shown as a result of art being integrated with social studies. will ' ' n. r f In Mrs. Futch's room music is receiving the children's attention. They find that singing is inspirational and en- joyable as well as edu- cational. In fact they believe happy people are a singing people. The pupils in Mrs. Rogers room have just received their prizes for selling magazines. The sixth grade pupils have made good salesmen. The prizes were very nice, and each child who sold a magazine received a pen. Each room and the office are to receive clocks for the walls as extra prizes for the high sales.
