This yearbook is more than just a history of the school year I947-48 at Faribault High School. ln addition to portraying the high lights of this year, it has been a project that has provided experience for a large staff, that has been an important part of their training and preparation. One of these important ex- periences has been the team work and co- operation that was developed among the large number of people who worked to make this record possible. L. M. ELLINGSON Principal High school graduates are going out into 0 world that very badly needs educated persons. It needs persons who have information, training, and skill to meet the competition of a complex world. lt also needs young men and women of character-reliable, cooperative, idealistic, and interested in working for a better community, country, and world.
